Delete Your PawStory Account
We understand how much your pet's records mean to you. When you decide to delete your account, we handle your data deletion request with care.

1. How to Request Deletion
If you'd like to delete your PawStory account and related data, you can submit a request in either of the following ways:

In the PawStory app, go to More → Data & Privacy → Delete Account → Request Account Deletion

Please include the email address you use to log into PawStory so we can verify your account.
Even if you've already deleted the PawStory app, you can still request deletion of your account and related data by emailing us using the method above.
2. What Gets Deleted
Once account deletion is complete, the following data will be deleted or anonymized:
- Your PawStory account information
- Pet profiles
- Daily care records, such as feeding, water, litter box, and medication logs
- Stories, journal entries, photo memories, and milestones
- Health records, such as weight, health notes, vet visits, vaccinations, deworming, and medication data
- Expense records
- Pet care contacts, body measurements, memory content, badges, points, and gift history, along with other related data you've created or accumulated in the app
- Care handover notes, care instructions, and related share links (once deletion is complete, any associated share links will also stop working)
- Photos or files you've uploaded to PawStory
- Other related records you've created in the app
3. Processing Time
We process your deletion request as soon as possible after receiving a complete submission. In general, we aim to complete processing within a reasonable timeframe.
During processing, we may contact you to confirm your identity or the details of your request. Processing time may vary depending on identity verification, the scope of data involved, subscription or billing status, and security checks. We'll notify you by email once deletion is complete.
4. Data We May Retain
Where required for legal, financial, security, anti-abuse, dispute-resolution, or audit purposes, some data may be retained for a limited period.
This data is used only for those necessary purposes and will not be used for general app features or marketing.
5. Canceling a Deletion Request
If you change your mind before your account and data are formally deleted, you can email us at: [email protected]
Please contact us using your PawStory login email, with the subject line: Cancel PawStory Account Deletion
If the account deletion process hasn't started yet, we'll make reasonable efforts to process your cancellation request. If deletion has already begun or some data has already been deleted, we may not be able to stop or restore that data.
⚠️ Once your account and data have been fully deleted, we cannot restore the related records.
